There's something special about the combination of tropical cocktails paired with bitter aperitivi. Located due north of the city of Novara, Lago Maggiore is the second largest lake in all of Italy, and the namesake for this favourite tropical sipper sweetened with the addition of almond orgeat and a blend of fresh juices, perfectly suited for sipping along the coastline.
Ingredients
45mL | Novara Bitter Aperitivo |
20mL | Non-Alcoholic Gin |
15mL | Almond Orgeat Syrup |
15mL | Fresh Lemon Juice |
60mL | Pineapple Juice |
60mL | Fresh Orange Juice |
4 dashes | Angostura Aromatic Bitters |
Preparation Instructions
- Add all ingredients except for Angostura Aromatic Bitters to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Cap shaker, and shake vigorously.
- Strain into a tropical, tiki-style mug filled with crushed ice, and finish with 4 dashes of Angostura Aromatic bitters.
- Add tropical garnishes available on-hand as you see fit! We love adding a parasol umbrella and pineapple fronds directly to glass, and serving with a reusable metal straw.
